this is a foundational belief of mine...

We are not meant to stay wounded. We are supposed to move through our tragedies and challenges and to help each other move through the many painful episodes of our lives. By remaining stuck in the power of our wounds, we block our own transformation. We overlook the greater gifts inherent in our wounds — the strength to overcome them and the lessons that we are meant to receive through them. Wounds are the means through which we enter the hearts of other people. They are meant to teach us to become compassionate and wise.

I've spent a lot time over the past 40 years doing this personal work and am now the most prepared, as an ecotherapist/nature based human development guide as I've ever been to be with others going through their own transformations, supporting and guiding them, walking the path with them as they experience their healing and growth toward wholeness.  Interested?

return from time in the underworld

Like many of my other than human brethren I've been spending a bit of time going deeply within, underground and underworld if you will, examining closely the dual questions of "Who am I, really and What gift do I have to give to the world?".  I think and feel deeply, core deeply that I have found some answers, not necessarily all the answers, but some core, soul based answers to those questions.

The answer to the first question, Who am I, lies in the realm of Son and Father, the son of my father and the father of my sons.  While this may seem obvious to most people who know me, the depth of these answers is what shapes my world.  And it is what informs the rest of who I am.

It's taken me a while, maybe longer than most, to discover this answer.  And I think the quality of the answers, in purity and authenticity makes the wait worthwhile.

I'll be posting more about these questions and answers in subsequent posts.  The answer to the second question is what guides my giveaway, my work, my passion in living.
